Lake Minard and the Oyhut Canal are part of the 23 miles of interconnecting fresh waterways in Ocean Shores, WA.  This lake and canal interconnect with the Bell Canals and the Grand Canal, which has access to Duck Lake.  The Oyhut Canal extends on both sides of Lake Minard.  Enjoy fishing, boating, kayaking, and canoeing on these waterways.  Lake Minard allows speed boating and water skiing (no jet skis).

There are 2 City-owned Boat Launches....

1)  Texmar Park has a hand-boat launch off Texmar Ave with parking, a Picnic Area, and great views of Lake Minard.

2)  Marine View Boat Launch has a boat launch at the south-end of the Oyhut Canal on Marine View Dr SE with parking, a Fishing Dock, and great views of the Oyhut Canal.  It is also located across from Damon Pt Beach.
