June 7-8, 2014 ~ Ocean Shores Kites presents the Festival of Colors of high flying kites of all sizes and kinds on the beaches in downtown Ocean Shores. Saturday saw some beautiful skies in the afternoon. Lots of people parked on the beach and rode horses and enjoyed the kite displays. Sunday saw overcast skies and great stunt kite flying. My personal favorites were the beautiful butterfly and the huge flying disk. This is a a neat and fun event!
